What to check for in any Economics revision notes

Before trusting a resource with your revision time, check it against these:

Four Economics mistakes that cost marks

These come up again and again in Economics answers. Check your own against them.

Treating a movement along a curve as a shift of the curveOnly a change in the good’s own price moves demand or supply along a fixed curve. Every other cause shifts the whole curve. This is the most common error in the allocation of resources chapter.
Describing a market change without stating both price and quantityA shift in demand or supply changes both. An answer that only says “price rises” is incomplete and loses the quantity mark.
Confusing a budget deficit with national debtA deficit is one year’s shortfall between revenue and spending. National debt is the accumulated stock of past borrowing. Using the terms interchangeably loses the definition mark.
Reversing the effect of a depreciation on exports and importsA depreciation makes exports cheaper, not dearer. Working from the wrong direction loses every mark that follows from it in the same answer.

Where students look for IGCSE Economics notes

General revision sites like ZNotes, Tutopiya, and Save My Exams, past-paper archives like PapaCambridge, and subject-specific sites like Glide all show up for this search — each with a different structure and depth. Run whichever one you’re using against the checklist above rather than assuming free means equivalent, or that paid means better.

What’s in the Economics bundle?

All 6 topics of the 0455 syllabus, in syllabus order, compiled into one PDF: the basic economic problem, the allocation of resources, microeconomic decision-makers, government and the macroeconomy, economic development, and international trade and globalisation.

How much does the Economics bundle cost?

Can I try the notes before buying?

Yes. The topic-by-topic notes are free to read online with no sign-up, so you can judge the standard before you buy the bundle.
