Privacy

Glide is a place to read revision notes. There are no accounts: reading the site does not require your name, email address, or any profile. The only time we handle personal data is when you buy a PDF bundle, which is covered below.
What we collect
- Basic analytics. Aggregated, non-identifying data about which pages are visited and roughly where visitors are in the world, so we know which topics to prioritise. This is not tied to you as an individual.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard request information, including IP address and browser type, for security and reliability. These logs are kept for a limited period and then discarded.
- Purchase records. If you buy a bundle, we store the email address used for the purchase, which bundle it was, and the payment reference — so we can deliver the file, re-send a download link if you lose it, and handle refunds.
Payments and purchases
Payments are processed by Paddle, which acts as the merchant of record for Glide. When you check out, you enter your email and payment details on Paddle’s checkout, not on Glide. Paddle collects and holds that information as the seller of record and processes the payment; its handling of your data is governed by Paddle’s own privacy policy.
Paddle passes us a record of the sale — your email address, the bundle purchased, and a transaction reference. We use it only to deliver your download, to re-send the link on request, and to deal with refunds or billing queries. We do not receive or store your card details.
Cookies
Glide itself does not set cookies to track you across sites. Third-party services described above (analytics, and Paddle’s checkout) may set their own.
Children
Glide is aimed at students preparing for Cambridge IGCSE. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data a service holds about you. For Glide that means your purchase records; email contact@glidenotes.org with the email address used for the purchase and we will act on your request. For data held by Paddle, contact Paddle directly.
Changes
If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we will update the date above.
